Obstetrics & Gynecology Division of Research

The mission of the Division of Research in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is to improve women’s health through developing innovative research and interdisciplinary collaborations, as well as providing research support for women’s health investigators at Women & Infants Hospital. By providing expertise in grant funding submissions, research methodologies, database management, and statistical analysis, the division works toward the goal of developing new knowledge and transforming this knowledge into practical information that can be shared with health care providers and the community.

The Division of Research works to increase grant funding in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, support publication of the research activities in the department, enhance the careers of junior investigators, and provide support for clinical research. The work of the Division of Research is driven by collaboration, education, training, and investigator support.
