Robert Insoft, MD
Dr. Robert Insoft, senior vice president and chief medical officer, joined Women & Infants Hospital in 2014. A neonatologist and assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and associate professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Dr. Insoft previously served as the medical director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Neonatal Respiratory Services at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, where he was also the quality officer in the NICU.A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Insoft completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital, and fellowships in neonatal-perinatal medicine and intensive care transport in the Department of Pediatrics and the Cardiovascular Research Institute at the University of California, San Francisco. He is also a scholar from the Brigham Leadership Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Business School.
Matt Quin, RN, MSN
Matt Quin was named senior vice president of patient care services and
chief nursing officer in 2015. He joined Women & Infants in 2013 as
vice president for nursing operations. Previously, Quin served in
several roles at Brigham and Women's Hospital including the director of
the Surgical, Burn and Trauma Intensive/Intermediate Care and director
of Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care, where he led the units’ clinical
discipline of nursing.
A graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., Quin earned a master's of science in nursing at Simmons College. He is a America's Essential Hospitals fellow in the 2015 cohort and is a member of America's Essential Hospitals, the American Association of Critical Care (AACN), the Organization of Nurse Leaders (ONL), the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), and Sigma Theta Tau International, the National Nursing Honor Society. Quin has received numerous awards, including the AACN Circle of Excellence Award for Nurse Leadership, the AACN Gold Beacon Award for excellence in intensive/progressive care and several Partners in Excellence Awards from Partners Healthcare Institutions.
Christina D. Johnk
Christina D. Johnk is senior director of human resources of Women & Infants Hospital. She joined Care New England in May 2015 after being part of CVS Health as the senior advisor of human resources for MinuteClinics. In her former capacity, Johnk had national responsibility for employee and labor relations, performance management, leadership and development, and business strategy. She worked primarily with nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physicians in an acute care setting.Johnk attended Roger Williams University and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor in human resources. She earned her PHR in 2010 from the SHRM institute and is a master coach for Senn Delaney. She is the board president of Rhode Island Family Shelter and is passionate about helping the homeless within her community.
